North Hudson Sewerage Authority, Hoboken, NJ – Flow Monitoring Services

The North Hudson Sewerage Authority (NHSA) serves the cities of Hoboken, Union City, Weehawken, and West New York, New Jersey. Infiltration and illicit flows have been persistent problems throughout the system which includes approximately one-hundred (100) miles of sewer line. EST was contracted by the City’s consultant to perform flow monitoring services in order to monitor sewer flows in Hoboken, Jersey City, and West New York.

City of Chicopee, MA – Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) Monitoring Program

Chicopee is the second largest city in Western Massachusetts. For decades, the City of Chicopee’s combined sewers have discharged untreated sewage and storm water into the Chicopee and Connecticut rivers. EST was contracted by the City’s engineering consultant to perform flow monitoring services in order measure and record combined sewer overflows within the City’s collection system.

Narragansett Bay Commission – Flow Monitoring Program

The Narragansett Bay Commission (NBC) is the largest wastewater authority in Rhode Island and is responsible for the operation of approximately eighty-nine (89) miles of combined sewer interceptors, many of which are over one-hundred (100) years old. For over a decade, EST was contracted by the commission to install, calibrate, replace, and maintain continuous flow monitoring and rain gauge equipment throughout the NBC service area.
